An enclosed back garden was full of rotten decking with no practicality or enjoyable spaces. Decking to run flush against porcelain paving created a modern contemporary style creating a separation of spaces using materials. A sunken seating area was installed to create a level variation to allow for a personal space accompanied by a raised planter surrounding a tree. The planter has a blade which allows water to flow onto a base of coloured pebbles.
