To borrow a view is the process of looking outside of a property in to the further landscape and this is exactly what our client wanted to do. Their home rests beside open farm land and they wanted to capture the view whilst providing a space to entertain.

We designed a haha to give a seamless flow of the lawn but also manage some of the load wildlife that enjoy eating their plants.  This supported the lawn area and the new patio and pergola.  A unique space with a bbq/ firepit, natural stone paving, treated and sanded new sleepers made this space feel welcoming and cosy.  The pergola has been clad in stained timber slats which cast a textured shadow over the patio area and offers screening from the sun and light showers.
