Design philosophy

Design that feels effortless — and is meticulously resolved.

We are a design-led landscape studio creating calm, contemporary gardens with refined structure and naturalistic planting. Our process is collaborative, highly considered, and focused on producing a garden that lives beautifully every day.

The studio

Pebble is intentionally small and hands-on. That means close attention from the first conversation, consistent design thinking throughout, and a level of detail that’s hard to achieve at scale.

We begin by understanding how you want to live outdoors — the views you value, the way light moves across the space, the routes you naturally take — then translate those insights into a clear, elegant layout and a planting scheme with depth and longevity.

When your project moves into build, we coordinate with trusted contractors and specialist craftspeople to help ensure the finished garden reflects the intent of the design.

Our design approach

The best gardens feel inevitable — as if they were always meant to be there. We create that sense of ease through strong structure, balanced proportions, and a restrained palette of materials that complements your home.

We soften architecture with layered planting, introduce atmosphere through lighting and texture, and design transitions carefully — thresholds, steps, terraces and paths that make movement through the garden feel natural.

The result is a garden that feels calm and quietly luxurious: contemporary in spirit, timeless in execution, and tailored to the way you live.
