The studio

Pebble is a small, design-led studio. Every project receives direct input from start to finish — ensuring consistency, clarity and a high level of detail throughout the process.

We begin by understanding how you want to use the space: how you move through it, where you spend time, and how it connects to your home. These insights shape a layout that feels natural, functional and refined.

During construction, we work alongside trusted contractors and specialist craftspeople, helping ensure the finished garden reflects the intent and quality of the design.

Design philosophy

Our gardens are defined by balance — strong, architectural structure softened with layered, naturalistic planting.

Materials are selected for longevity and coherence with the house. Planting is designed for depth, texture and seasonal change. Lighting and detailing are integrated early, not added later.

The result is a space that feels calm, immersive and quietly distinctive — contemporary in character, but timeless in execution.

Founder

Benjamin Wincott

Ben is an award-winning landscape designer with over 25 years of experience creating private gardens across the UK. His work includes RHS Chelsea Flower Show medal-winning gardens, television projects, and over 15 years teaching garden and landscape design at university level.

With a background spanning both design and construction, Ben brings together creative direction, technical understanding and horticultural knowledge — ensuring that each project is not only visually strong, but practical and enduring.

His approach is calm, considered and highly detail-focused, shaping gardens that feel resolved, characterful and deeply connected to their setting.
